Nope, all done.
Oh well.

@mattlach practically speaking though people will keep buying the things (from wherever) and just pretend that they've owned them all along. But no mass dealer is going to be selling them openly.
If you "feel bad" about f***ing the state over you might want to reevaluate your headspace.I'm not really a fan of taking advantage of the fact that it is difficult/impossible to prove I am doing something illegal to do something illegal. Even though I disagree with the law, it just feels wrong (and risky).
Either way, it won't work for me. I didn't have a mass license early enough to be able to claim that I legally bought it before either 8/2 or the "emergency" thingy was signed (whichever applies in this case).

Umm... wow.Absolutely everything with me is above board. I'd turn in my own mother if she committed a crime.
See I don't think it's "f***ing the state over". The state doesn't stand do gain or lose anything whichever way I go.
I've never "felt bad" for any state or government.
And I'm not passing judgment on whatever anyone else chooses to do,
I've just spent a lifetime making a point out of coloring way inside the lines when it comes to all legal matters, even when I disagree with laws or I am personally negatively affected by it, and I am not about to change now. I am, not comfortable with playing footsie with the grey area when it comes to any law, no matter what it is.
I don't even cross a double yellow, or make a right on red without comping to a complete stop. Never have, never will.
I'm the kind of guy woo would turn in $1M of untraceable cash found in the woods. Wouldn't even think twice about it.

I take laws seriously. I'll fight to change ones I disagree with, but will never violate them as long as they are in place.

I'll do you one better: the state, with its infinite forethought, writes two laws that conflict. Which do we follow?I used to be a lot like you, so I can empathize.
If I can ask... what do you do when two laws come into conflict? Like, say, a state law says one thing, but federal law (or the Constitution) says something different; how do you reconcile that?
