MA laws only apply in MA

You would probably not find a NH FFL willing to sell something to a MA resident that does not meet MA specifications

But if you had a gun that was not MA whatever, there is nothing they can do about it if it is at your parents house in NH or anywhere else for that matter

If you had an upper that was not MA whatever, you can keep it in NH IMHO
