I could see that. But I would think that possession of firearms in another state is still something that MA can’t pursue in addition to the other crime that they’re obtaining a warrant for. Only the other state’s law regarding possession in the other state applies.I can see a firearm related charge for something like trafficking illegal firearms into MA from another state. But simply possessing them in another state isn’t something that MA has any jurisdiction over, whether or not the person is a MA resident.
