Mag Gutz kit and the BG 380

In short they suck. I have had no problems with my BG running factory mags. I though this was a cool concept to add more ammo. I figured it was just a new spring and follower. There are a few peices and two springs. I had about 100 rounds to blow through of various stuff. Almost on every mag I had problems with the second to las or last round. On top of the these dumb followers kept tilting or half sliding out the from of the mag. Very crappy. The only mag that ran ok for a bit was a pro mag. But. Again there quality is lacking. It showed once it got dirty. The fallower kept get tick stuck down inside when loading it. So all in all. Stay away from the Mag Gutz kit and pro mag lol. I'm back to factory configuration

the mags for BG380 seem like a snug fit for 6 rds....so pushing it to 7 must really be asking a lot out of the mag, spring, etc.

did mag guts CS help you out? I would think they should replace or reimburse if the product sucks that bad

also good thing you tested it out....probably a lot of peopleout there carrying similar setup without really testing it

Oh no I only load 6 in the factory mags. Mine Los 6 easy. I got the kit so I could assent oaky have 8 in the gun. I have shot these mags before but just like a couple mags not really shooting it and dumping mags in the dirt and stuff. The design just sucks. You could literally like pull the fallower out the front of the mag or change its orientation. Just goes to show leave the factory stuff alone

I heard the glock ones are okay maybe it's just the size of the mags that's the issue. obviously the 42 mag is gigantic compared to the bg and should have been able to hold 8 np but don't rule it out for the shield is all I'm saying

Worked out in my shield so far, admittedly only have a few hundred through it though.
