There will be a "Winterized" at Monmouth, Maine on February 20 & 21. The club is directly on Route 202, about 12 miles west of Augusta. We do not cancel for weather. The Winterseed patch is blue with icicles hanging off it. This is a coveted patch. The clubhouse is heated and you will be welcome.
We recommend that you take your rifle out and fire it in cold weather after leaving it in the truck overnight to cold soak. A lot of rifles fail to function with summer lubricants gumming up the actions. The time to find that out is before you need your rifle.
There will also be an April 16 & 17 shoot at Monmouth. This is our premier annual event and is held on the weekend closest to April 19. Check the link for additional appleseeds.
