Just a friendly reminder that Scarborough Rod & Gun will be hosting the Maine State Service Rifle Championships this coming Saturday, the 7th followed by a EIC Match on Sunday the 8th.

****NOTE*****Due to a West-facing range, this match may (probably) start at the 600yd line and then go to 200,300.

Some of the door prizes (names drawn from a hat of all registrants):

Mystery Ranch Backpack w/N.I.C.E. Frame
Beretta Rifle Gun Case
Berger Bullets, 2 @ 300ea.
Berger Reloading Manual
Sierra Bullets
Alaska Knife, Yukon # 1 & Custom Sheath
Cabella's Gift Cards
Hand Carved & Signed Duck Decoy
Sinclair International Gift Cards
Fifth Edition Ammo & Ballistics Manual

Going to be a very busy weekend at Scarborough, which is also holding their annual Bullseye Pistol "Lobster Match".
We had a match this past weekend to get all the kinks out of the logistics (it will still not be quite as smooth as a Nashua/Reading match, but bear with them). I'm just happy that my rifle issues are ironed out.
Hope to see all of our New England HP folks there!

I mailed out my pre registration last Saturday.

I'll won't be making the EIC this Sunday but I will be shooting the Champs this Saturday.

It might not be a bad idea. If not, I'd show up a little early just to make sure. Can't imagine it'll be a full range, but you never know.

Weather looks good!

Who cares how "smooth" it is.
We just want to and like to shoot, have a good time at it.
I believe there will be a number of folks coming up from Reading.
See you there.

Good turnout, excellent shooting conditions, and some very good scores! I will update when I get some final results.

Well, good thing the prize drawings were random. [grin]

A bunch of us shot the pistol leg today. Yikes, I thought rifle was tough!

I picked a great time to shoot my first crossfire in a couple of years.[crying]

Ugh, I was hoping those would get lost in the aether.

Yes, we'd both like to forget Saturday. Awesome score by Duane, though!

The cross-fire on Sunday didn't bother me too much at the time, but the more I think about it, the more I get a little pissed off at myself.
Oh well, better luck next time.

Thanks Pat

Didn't do as well on Sunday due to a late round at 300, oh well we keep coming back to get better.

Some days your the dog and others the fire hydrant.

It was a great weekend, we should consider ourselves lucky to have so many fine ranges close by to practice our love of shooting.

I would like to thank the High Power Rifle staff at Scarborough for putting on a great match. We get to do what we love because guys like them are willing to put in the hard work to make it happen.
