Anyone have an opinion of it? I recently left Hanson. I liked it, but was too far from me. I was looking at Pembroke and Marshfield. Pembroke ranges weren't that nice when I visited, and I don't like how you can't shoot jacket ammo indoors, isn't 24/7, and can't bring a portable clay thrower. The only thing I can find that I don't like about Marshfield is the 6 round limit. But I would rather deal with that than the Pembroke rules.

I've just never visited Marshfield, and am looking for a general idea of how the facilities and members are.

Do they have an outdoor Archery range at all? And how busy does it get?

I've have been a member there for the last 10 years. I believe there is a outdoor archery range, but I don't shoot bow so I don't really know anything about.

The place is immaculate, the outdoor range is 200 yards which is also nice. Jacketed ammo is now ok indoors.

On the downside, it's a little fuddy, the 6 round rule is embarrassing. Also, there are no longer any steel gongs outside. You need to make and bring your own wooden target holders, which is pretty lame IMHO.

The 6 round rule is ridiculous. But I would still take that over what I've seen at Pembroke.

Thanks for the info.

As for the target holders, at least I'll know I have a decent holder when I go.
