I’m not sure what a “sock puppet account” is but I did just recently join but only because I just found out this site exists. Not trying to start any trouble here, just weighing in with my opinion which I’ve already admitted is just my uneducated perspective. I really hope it passes but I’m just not as optimistic about it as others seem to be. Regardless of what I think should happen (which is that the AWB’s should be easily deemed unconstitutional) I just don’t trust any part of the government or “justice” system to do the right thing. …Also whoever said I don’t/haven’t followed scotus much is 100% correct as this is really the first time I’ve had something I cared about enough to follow so my opinion is obviously not worth much if anything but I will stick to my guns (no pun intended) and say I’ll believe this will work out favorably for the 2nd amendment when I see it. I do know enough to say there’s more than a couple reasons this could end badly or at the very least get pushed further into the future more and more. I’m sorry I ruffled some feathers here that was not my intention and I hope you all realize I’m rooting for this just as much as you are however I don’t share your optimism but I REALLY hope you guys are right and I’ll be the first one to admit I was wrong if I am and if I am right I sure as hell won’t be happy about it.
