Mass Shooting in Downtown Orlando

DEVELOPING STORY: There’s been a mass shooting in downtown Orlando during a massive Halloween celebration. There’s no word from police on the number of injured or fatalities.


“There were bodies literally in front of me, I’ve never experienced anything even close to this before,” one eyewitness wrote on X.

Rep. Maxwell Frost (D-FL) said that multiple people had been hit.


“Please stay clear of Downtown Orlando,” the congressman wrote on X. “Reports of a shooting with multiple people hit. Stay safe.”


Video posted on Facebook showed several people on the ground as terrified revelers in costumes fled the scene. Police were seen administering first aid to both individuals.

As for Victim 10: she's a keeper (unless contradictory photographic evidence indicates otherwise): Female, shot and drove herself to hospital, where she was in stable condition.
