This is a Mauser Chileno – Modelo 1895, 7mm, (with a Mannlicher stock) made in Loewe Berlin. It is in fantastic condition and is a very accurate rifle. Would anyone know what this rifle is worth? Would anyone know where I could get it appraised?

Thanks

Nice mauser! They seem to get $500-$650 for these in very good condition.

Thank you for commenting. The gun is in excellent shape. A choice of anmmunition is hard to find, but the gun does shoot great with Federal. It is also not brutel to shoot.
Again, thanks for your information.

In original condition and all matching might bring 300-350. Although nicely done, it's been sporterized. Aftermarket monte carlo stock, bolt has been turned down, or replaced with after market, reciever drilled and tapped for scope, barrel cut down and front sights changed. No collector value at all. Might get 150 or so from someone looking for a shooter. 1895 lowe chilenos where made lat 1890's, small ring action. The worst thing you can do is hack them up if you want to retain any value. If you like it just keep it and have fun shooting it.
