I searched and found some older reviews... People complained about about more members are there for just drinking than shooting. Is this still the case? Wouldn't that leave the ranges open for shooting?

feel free to PM if you don't want to post your review publicly

The info on this club online is scarce. I live like a mile away but travel to Harvard. If I knew more I might join

I too live nearby, great youth programs......a clay target program and indoor rifle (22lr) for the kids. Club offers indoor range, outdoor rifle and pistol, trap and skeet fields, archery and a trout pond. Huge outdoor pavilion and indoor function hall. Even Boston Paintball runs paintball on their own fields on the back side of the club. Yes, there is a social side to the club with a members lounge that offers a place to gather afterwards. They also even run a couple pool leagues/teams. A ton going on over there. Not a lot of clubs in the area that offers as much as they do.

What's the cost per year? Do they require work hours? How does one join?

Ps what's the cost of beers over there?

MRG membership for first year is $150 + 85 initiation.
Renewals are $150, but there is a volunteer CHIT system. Work 10 hrs during the year, and renew at $100.
No mandatory work party hrs.

The club has a bullseye pistol team, Nashoba Valley League, plus two trapshooting teams, Greater Lowell League.

Facilities include, 8 position indoor range, 100 yd outdoor rifle, 50 ft outdoor pistol, two trap fields, two skeet fields, archery range.

NRA Safety course offered, and started Women on Target program in 2012.

The Junior rifle and Junior shotgun programs are excellent.
Jr. Shotgunning offers skeet and trap at the club, opportunities to travel to ATA shoots, travel to sporting clays, and the State Shoot.

They do hold an open house, usually in the fall. I don't believe a date has been set yet for this year.
They also waive the initiation at the Game Supper in January, the Trout Derby in May, and a couple other times like the Women on Target events, etc.
I'll try and find out about the open house and post here.
