Hi,

Anyone had any experience with one of these? I was thinking of getting one for a Glock 17 or a Glock 21 and wanted to know if anyone had any input.... I know in the great state of MA I would have to stick with the Fixed Stock version.

Let me know what you think. SAw a guy on Youtube ringing the steel at 80 yards.......

Thanks - Will

Have had one for g17 for many years now.
Thing is totally awesome. Totally reliable & functions with even my weakest steel loads.
I strongly recomend the g17 kit because then you can use the 33Rd stick mags and it's cheaper to shoot.
It's legal for USPSA rifle or three gun.
I mounted a C-more red dot for an optic with 2 MOA and I almost never miss, even out to 100 yards.
Since I configured this set up I'm always in the money at bowling pin rifle matches.
Depending on your frame, a collapsable stock is completely legal in Mass. Most Glocks in Ma. are pre ban.
I also plan on removing the black flash hider & threading the muzzle for a comp. Whether it needs it or not, It will still look cool. Even removed the barrel is still 16 inches.
I believe even the mechtech website claims it's merely for looks.
I found mine used, like new for $200 & 9 times out of 10 it blows away your $800 plus 9mm AR's.

You simply insert what Mechtech calls a Glock block. witch rests right on the frame block of your gun.
It's kind of like an added feed ramp to guide the round into the chamber.
Then it just clicks in like a regular barrel and slide assembly. Two seconds and you're done.

Glad I did a search first and holy cow it worked. lol

I met a GENT at the range with two of these today. He was ringing steel at 75 yards consistently. We chatted a bit. I gained some INTEL and he let me try put a few down range. I was very impressed to say the least. He had 2, one on a G19 frame and another on a 1911 farme. I prefered the CCU on the Glock Frame over the 1911. Going to make the call tomorrow to order one.
