I have a buddy turning 60 next year, and am looking to get him a nice folder. Shopping in the $500 - $800 range. He currently carries a ZT0770CF that I gifted him on his 50th. Looking at possibly a Medford Midi Marauder or Proxima. Looking for feedback from anyone that has or has handled a Medford (I Have not), also open to suggestions in that price range. Any feedback appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Make sure he gives you a coin in return.

Excellent suggestions on the Chris Reeve. I got Sebenza from another buddy for my 50th. One additional factor is that I can get a pretty broad range of knives at wholesale, and CR isn't one of them.

I was a CR dealer for a while. You had to buy direct and place a $5000 order to get started, however they would just randomly send knives against the $5k as they made them since they were not mass produced. I never talked with Chris, but had a few calls with his wife.
