Methods of Carry?

Depends on situation/season:

Winter: SIG P229 .40 5 o'clock, IWB canvas clip holster 5 o'clock, extra mag front pocket.
Spring, Summer, Fall: Para OPS .45, CompTac C.T.A.C. IWB 5 o'clock, extra mag.
Deep Deep Cover: Used to be Para, now SA XD compact 9mm, IWB canvas clip holster 5 o'clock, no extra mag. This may also be in a galco ankle holster.

Backup: Colorful language.
Blade: None.

Here's mine:

HK P2000 .40 S+W LEM
3:30-4 o'clock - IWB - uncle mike's sidekick.
Sometimes spare mag 9 oclock, often not.

Sometimes carry OWB - same position, if I'm going to
be walking outside a lot... Don Hume JIT slide.

Summer is the same, but with Glock 19. I might
end up carrying the P2000 full time now though.

Blade is Emerson CQC-8 (clip rt pocket).

Only the attacker will know for sure, but I've been known to use one or more of the following:

Sig 239 in a Rosen G5 (I really like this setup)
LesBaer 1911 in a HighNoon In Waist Band (IWB)
Kel-Tek P32 in rear pocket Hedley Holster
J frame .38 in Kramer IWB
Firestar .40 in Kramer On Waist Band (OWB)
various other combos. More depends on what I'm wearing than anything. I have one holster that is used for ONE outfit as it sucks for anything else and I wear that outfit maybe twice a year.

Have a few Small of Back (SOB) that I like the comfort of (I never had issues while driving except access) but the prospect of falling on it keeps these in the drawer.

Haven't found a good holster for the .500. Yet. (^_^)

Ankle rigs annoy me. Shoulder rigs never seem to fit the outfits I tend to wear (I own 2 and wore each of them ONCE) but I do like vertical holster versions better. I have Thunderwear and there just never seems to be a comfotable place to put anything I can't just hide in a pocket.

I don't know what it is, but everyone seems to start off with autos, but it's amazing how eventually a few wheelguns enter the mix. (^_^)

IWB - plan on getting a good high ride OWB
sometimes a GP100 in Bianchi belt holster
speed strip in watch pocket of jeans or shirt pocket
no backup
Blades - an old Buck lockback 3" blade , on belt , or a Benchmade assisted open clipped in pocket or IWB or a Gerber ,slim profile, in pocket

A multitude of pocket carry combinations of Seecamp .32, always a Kershaw Ken Onion Assisted, Spyderco, or Byrd blade, and always a Fenix L1T or Luxogen CR2 light.

Still working on getting my mid-size CCW (I started small) and always upgrading the blades and lights.

I'm looking forward to getting my new Seecamp .380 to replace my Beretta Tomcat as my second back-up. My first back-up is my 2" Taurus .38 with a shrouded hammer. Primary is a XD-9

IMHO dbhn carries way too many blades. For me,one is enough (especially if it's an assisted opener) along with a credit card with one edge filed to a sharp edge in the wallet (just by coincidence it is my Capitol One card- What's in your wallet?). The credit card and my Parker spun aluminum barrel pen are my "airline kit" for weapons when I am forced to travel "naked". [wink]

glock17 right side, fobus paddle holseter. one spare mag left side. keltec p3at 380 front jacket pocket.

during the witer months i carry a rossi .38 with +p hps, right side leather holster, two five shot speed loaders left front side. and a beretta .25 right jacket pocket.

i also alternate between a keltec p11 loaded with s&w 915 hicap mags, and a glock 21 45acp with two extra mags, both carried right front side in leather holsters. i also alternate between the p3at and a bersa thunder .380 right jacket pocket. i carry no blades. my trunk gun is a 1300 defender 12 gauge, i alternate that with a ak

Modified AO 1911 PKZ .45, Sig-Arms jacket in winter, under arm during summer. Golden Sabre rounds
Astra Constable 380 as backup, cargo pocket, Remington's hollow points
full sized KA-BAR tanto style

and i know how terrible AO is, but with the extractor tightened and the trigger pull lightened I can get 1 inch groups at 25 yards
