"Manchester police said four young adults suffered gunshot wounds. All victims were being treated at a local hospital and expected to survive... People at the scene indicated a college graduation celebration at the address where the shooting occurred…

Due to having four shooting victims, this incident may be New Hampshire's first mass shooting in a quarter of a century… Carl Drega killed two New Hampshire State Police troopers, a judge, and a newspaper editor in Colebrook in late August 1997."

The Elmwoods Gardens housing project - in that Red patch on the map. Not FBI’s Mass Shooting list - nobody died.

What are the gibs like in NH? Im sure they dont compare to MA but are they generous enough that its worthwhile for ghetto goblins to migrate there?

MHT PD says >15rd fired - must only have 15 of those little brass markers. The stock on Pre-Mortuary Kits (body bags) was pretty small too - they had to ramp inventory up for ODs a few years back.

It was only a matter of time, Manch is growing in ghetto hood booger popularity. Bangers gonna bang. Of course now the question is are we going to see typical reactive knee-jerk anti 2a legislation.

I’m sure we’ll get some anti-gun BS at the State Representative level - with 400 Reps, there’s a Moonbat contingent.

Nope. Gov Sununu just called out MHT for not doing enough for the homeless last week.

There were a few folks that called it when one of Maura's pals got elected mayor .
Not that it was exactly paradise before but it's been flying down the shitter with afterburners on the last several years.

A friend of mine was teaching in Colebrook at the time. He didn't see the actual gun play, but he witnessed the chase prior to it.

Since 2000 Manchester has had 11 years of Democrat mayors and 12 years of Republicans. Pretty even split. Doesn't seem to make much of a difference because Manchester has been going downhill for at least the last 10 years and most likely longer.

And btw, should Manchester really be considered NH? It's filled with drugged up leeches who prey on society, not to mention anyone who might happen to cross their path. They are human excrement, and need to be kept away from innocents for eternity.

I had a 6 unit in Manchester.
4 on the dole.
2 collecting as Puerto Rico residents
1 was using his brother's address in Camden. Yes, NJ
One was legit NH white trash
All were reported on. Nothing ever done.
The only 2 that had jobs were the Mexican and the gay guys.
In this day and age it doesn't matter where you live, you fit their criteria and you're in. Govt doesn't care. All they care is that they get support from the deadbeats when needed.

The real problem is the people who work in the machine. To a large extent its run on the honor system. If a red blooded conservative were working a desk, there are procedures to weed people out, but conservatives dont want those jobs. Weepy eyed white women with sociology degrees and angry brown women work there. Instead of operating as filters, as was originally intended, they operate as funnels and either educate them how to game the system or look the other way.

Make it uncomfortable for hood boogers to live in the state. Sununu has an office of DEI . He hired the head of Lowell’s or Lawrence’s, I forget which.

See now I don't count those as mass shootings. Just thinning the herd of idiots.
Of course it's all "gun violence" that harumpf harumpf needs to be harumpf stopped.

They keep pounding. Sadly, sooner or later they will start gaining ground.
OTOH, we've been gaining for the past couple of decades. Biggest uncertainty at this point is who will take over for Sununu...
  • 2003 - HB415 statewide firearms law preemption signed by Governor Craig Benson
  • 2004 - HB 1309 Range protection amendment to RSA 158-B

  • 2011 - SB88 Expands Castle Doctrine (Veto Override)

It's hard to keep up on what constitutes a "mass shooting" these days, but four with minor wounds doesn't seem to fit in the same category as Drega's four killed.

Not to any rational adult it doesn't.

Drega was a jerk lashing out at authority figures while trying to suicide by cop. I'd say killing spree fits. There is also something in there about what happens when the government continues to mess with a man, but I won't go there.

Manchester clown is just a wannabe thug doing wannabe thug things. Possibly a deliberate hit and possibly just an initiation or dare. Normal day to day stuff in many cities.

Population pressure

It'll continue getting worse.

People were evolved to live in small, widely separated hunting, fishing and farming communities, not cities.

"Sources told WMUR that witnesses are not being very cooperative with the investigation.

Police said over the weekend they don't believe the shooting was a random attack, but 43 hours after the gunfire, there are very few details about the shooters and no arrests have been made. Police are asking people who live in the Elmwood Gardens neighborhood for help.

"West Baker and South Elm, and all those surrounding streets, if you do have a ring camera or any sort of surveillance camera, we ask that you take a look at that," Hamel said. Several people declined on-camera interviews Monday, telling News 9 they did not want to be targeted and that the unwritten policy in the neighborhood is to keep to yourself and stay in your house.

Someone on Twitter posted a copy of the lease agreement at that address. It's public housing, and it says that no resident may possess or carry, nor allow any visitor to possess or carry, any firearm or other deadly weapon.

That's not legal under NH law, but it's boilerplate for fed subsidized property.

Already 21/20 yo felons before the shooting.
great kids, just turning their lives around

Yeah, I took a lease to a lawyer that said I waive trial by jury. He said sign it - no court would consider it enforceable. Same with the public housing guns ban?

“Manchester Police Chief Allen Aldenberg said witnesses were not being very cooperative with the investigation.

"Thus far the level of cooperation, quite frankly, has not been what it should be when four people are shot in the middle of the day attending a graduation party. So people there have more information and it's time to provide that," Aldenberg said. "One-hundred percent there's a threat to the public.”

But the threat to witnesses who snitch is 200%…

The KFC did them in…

”Investigators said they used surveillance video to track O'Neil and Sayle, spotting the pair throwing a Kennedy Fried Chicken box away in a trash can on Amherst Street 25 minutes before the shooting.”

Not bad, if the trend holds.

"Police Chief Allen Aldenberg said his team has been working for the past three years to lower gun incidents in the city and said their efforts are working.

According to the Manchester Police Department, there have been 23 gunfire incidents this year compared to 48 this time last year, a 52% drop.

Aldenberg credited that to what he describes as a holistic and proactive approach, including officers out on foot patrols, building community partnerships and working with nonprofit organizations in the city.

"I can only imagine what things would look like if we weren't taking the proactive approach that we are taking, and that's a credit to the men and women inside the Manchester Police Department that are doing the work everyday," Aldenberg said."
