More Firearms Manufactured in NH Than Any Other State

So, basically, just Sig. That's it. LOL

Every New Hampster on this board is getting tight pants and if you read the article, while 20% of firearms are manf'd in NH, 16% are. . . . Sigs. Without it, NH drops precipitously.

But good for Sig. Strange to not bother to focus on that within the early part of the article.

Without Glock, Georgia drops to statistically zero.

so there's an increase in the number of p320s out there. i guess i better start wearing SBA everywhere.
You should do that anyway. There’s an increase in hood rats, drug addicts, and violent felon illegals too. I’d walk around in full plate armor if it were fashionable.

HK had at least a half assed factory in Newington at one point, dunno if it still exists, that stuff may have been all moved to Trussville AL
Does HK ever do better than half assed for anything?? [pot]

I'm sure NH has some additional gun manufacturers in it, I just don't recall them off the top of my dome.

Well in their defense Sig did the same shit for a long time. The frames would come from Germany but the uppers would be made in NH etc. It was many years before Sig started making the infamous "UU" frames in NH.

Q makes their guns in NH too. :D
Ruger also produces guns in NH.

This is the Ruger factory (not sure which buildings) in Newport, NH.

I was up there recording a video on Friday for my YouTube channel—a tribute to Aerosmith, since they just retired from touring—and I drove over to Steven Tyler's house, which is near there.

The main building is even more impressive on the inside. Security is (as you'd expect) tight, and they don't give tours.

I'm sure, and I anticipated tight security, which is why I didn't even bother pulling into the main area. Instead, I parked in their wide-open lot across the street where there are no buildings.

This means NH is the #1 producer of:

1. Guns that go off when you drop them.

2. Horrible triggers.

Congrats, NH. You guys are special.

At least they can't claim the ugliest revolver, Ruger Super Redhawk. That title goes to our special friends in CT.

That's my take too. When I was looking for a wheel gun, I checked out some new S&W as well as Ruger's. The GP100 trigger beat the F out of the ones in the same caliber (357 Magnum) from S&W. Wasn't even a contest. Even more so when you went SA.

When I tested out a 44 Magnum Ruger (IIRC, super blackhawk) it's trigger was also very nice. The Wrangler 22, and Old Army, I picked up earlier this year also have nice triggers. So of all the Ruger's I've had time on, all the triggers have been nice. Sure, some are SA only, but the ones that were DA/SA were telling. I don't have any DAO pistols to compare. Hell, even my 22/45 and 10/22 didn't have horrible triggers. Not like a glockie. I did replace the parts in those to be a closer match to MY standards (which are sweet 1911 triggers).
