I am repairing a Mossberg 500 for a friend (his issue was the common trigger housing retainer pin falling out) - it is an easy repair, but I was wondering about another apparent missing pin that I noticed while working on the shotgun. I have circled the hole in question - and I have checked on the Numrich schematic but don't see any part associated with this hole. Any ideas what the missing pin is that should be in this hole? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
