That's what I thought... Eliminating 'slow downs' doesn't mean they've eliminated stoppages. Or failure to run cases. You also have to wonder how much of a lag in getting to a stop is considered 'normal' by them. "Oh, it's ONLY ten minutes late, no biggie." Meanwhile, that stacks with other 1-5 minute lags to make you even later getting to where you need to be. Which means you better pad how long it's going to take you to get anywhere by a decent amount of time. Not to mention other items that can add time to your commute.


I also avoid taking public transit like the plague it harbors due to everything else about it. The fact that it's a moving petri dish, where your chances of catching something goes up significantly. That's just one item on the list. I've not even had a cold in several years now. Not about to expose myself to who the hell knows what by taking public transit.
