This started out as a Colt 1991 Compact. A new 10-8 "U" notch rear sight was cut in as well as an XS small dot tritium front. The Colt plastic trigger was replaced with an aluminum speed trigger by Grieder. A Smith and Alexander beavertail grip safety with speed bump and installed and blended to the frame. The barrel was flushed and deep crowned and a Clark spring cap was installed. The Colt hammer was retained, but the ring hole was beveled, and a new sear was installed. The gun was tuned to shoot 185 grain JHP's. The entire gun was Cerakoted in graphite black. Custom ebony grips were made to order for the finishing touch.
