I've shot this gun many times and have bought it to 2 shoots so far but never got any range shots of it.

I took it out today after work and rapid fired off three 30 round mags and one 75 round drum. Its easy to piss through 165 rounds of ammo when you buy it in bulk. Especially when you look forward to the site of the handguards smoking from rapid fire.[smile]

I was hoping it would, but unfortunately the smoke doesn't show up in the pics.[sad2]

This is by far one of the most fun to shoot rifles in my collection. One of these days I'll get a 4 power POSP scope for it and see what kind of long range accuracy its capable of.

Squirt a little oil (like break-free) under the handguard, on the gas tube and barrel. Then rapid fire. You'll have billowing smoke in no time!

When I fired mine at the recent Mansfield shoot I was noticing some pretty bad trigger slap. Has anyone else had that problem? After looking at the trigger parts they don't seem to have the same flaw as the old Romanian trigger parts but I was still experiencing it.

I never paid attention with mine. I know it'll practically bumpfire with just the right squeeze of the trigger .

It definitely fires quickly with ease but by the end of a magazine my finger is left numb. I'll probably just buy a new trigger group and throw it in there. I was eyeing this adjustable trigger for ak's on the Black Jack Buffer's site.

I noticed something else that I forgot to post in this thread a while back so I figured I'd bring it back from the grave. Pulling the bolt carrier back on my AES seems to be more difficult compared to my WASR. Anyone have any thoughts as to why? I'm thinking I might want to try sanding down the hammer or something as it may be hindering the movement of the bolt slightly.
