My friend texts me his rifle jammed...

His house, his life, his rules. I take my shoes off when I walk in. He keeps it for HD.... with no irons, no scope, and no red dot. Not even a laser for point fire. his HD rifle is literally a scav gun from Tarkov.
That dude is not doing any HD with that. He is not even capable of properly loading one round under no stress.

I would tell him to worry less about self defense right now and maybe sit back and think how stupid it is to play with love ammo at home. After that, he should learn how to handle a rifle and after that maybe he should think about HD with that rifle.

The jam

How did he manage to do that? I had to beat the piss out of the charging handle back and forth till I finally got it to drop out. The rear pin was so tight I could barely get it to move with a punch and was worried about damaging the pins or lower as it came undone.

And he had the balls to complain about some of the powder coat coming off when I finally freed up the round.
This is why when the shit hits the fan, I’ll be way ahead of the curve.

it surprises me not that a person pulls back the bolt, throws round into the dark opening and releases the bolt.
people are indeed really that stupid. like carlin was saying - look around you, half of those you see are - ...

I don't know what he was doing at his house (probably showing it off) but it's yet to be fired. That jam was from him charging a round manually.
Uhh wow.

I helped someone at the range with a similar jam (pulled round forward with pliers while pulling back on the charging handle). Never seen that just charging a rifle though.

I'm sure he tried to "fix" it and only made it worse.

This thing was so tight against the inside top of the upper and the bolt face that I had to literally pound the charging handle against wood to get to move at all. All pliers would have done is remove the projectile... although not a bad idea from a safety standpoint.

NES screen name?
Not on here. But if he ever does get here, I will have him run the first gauntlet of putting a laughing emoji on every classified listing you have. Someone made me do it when I started my first account I've long since lost the password to, along with which email I insisted on as well. I thought it was the second secret handshake for the longest time. I'm working on getting this account up to par on the same bit. I think it started with the post "Anyone who puts a laughing emoji on this pays an extra $200"

But of you laugh at it you're not a buyer anyway. 🤣🤣

Are you laughing then buying?

By any chance did that come from reptile? [smile]
No, Mike Pelosi at The Civilian Supply. Good guy. Touch slow on receipts, but that was one of my friends who insisted on having one. For me, I just figured I'd let the idiots do a contact trace through the ATF if they care that much.

Forward assist did that?
Yikes

Is it just me, or does the top rail look cattywampus? Was this a home build? Either way, somethings f***y

Your friend is not very smart. I would stay away from him when holding guns.
D. All of the above.

NFW that huge gouge in the case came from anything but him beating on it like a 14 year old with an iPad and "What are you doing, Stepfather?" videos. Hell yeah, something's fµcky. The strength of the recoil spring and inertia of the bolt moving forward just doesn't have enough energy to do that.
