He and I did Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom together when things were fresh and we were both single and childless. He's still doing it.

I remember. I was stationed there as well years ago. And when it rains it takes two hours because some idiot forgot how to drive in rain since yesterday's storm.
