I talked to the Police Department today, and they told me I should have my license by the end of May. So this brings up a good question, what do I want? I think my list goes something like this (in no particular order):

SW1911
Glock 27/22
H&K USP
Walther P99
Walther P22
Beretta 92FS
M&P 15
M1 Garand
Ruger 10/22

Any newly licensed people have a wish list of their own?

Yeah...I'm back and forth between the p228 and p226 right now.

I have a P228. I do believe they built it for MY hand , but others may like it as well. I will never get rid of it. ... ' course finding normal capacity magazines is a PITA. I paid $50 for a 13rnd mag a few months ago.

the 92fs is a easy to use 9mm, i carried one for a year. never had any problems with the pistol, but i did have a bunch of problems with magazine springs.
H&K's are nice pistols, but ive never owned or carried one. just shot a bunch of them

I would say a G19 would be a perfect place to start. BEWARE!! they can be addicting. My first was a G19 and now I own 8 glocks with a new arrivial due tommorrow. I never owned an HK but I really like my Sigs also-226 & 245SS
Just make sure whatever you get that it's for you and not someone else. BRR
