Need some guidance from the 1911 experts

Took the Emissary out to the range for a quickie, fired a couple hundred rounds of different brands of FMJ and a few mags JHP's without a hiccup. I'm grateful that SA took care of this so quicky but maybe if the QC was a bit better it never would have had to gone back in the first place. But, I'm happy so all is good.

Any ammo that doesn't case gauge should be set aside for practice rounds,.. I've just re-read your original post and you mentioned that some of your rounds are sticking up 1/8". My barrel is out having the chamber opened up slightly,. but my Ronin 9mm has become one of my favorite and most reliable guns. Your cases after sizing, but before flaring, should fit in your case gauge perfectly. If after seating/crimping your reloads are not case gauging then you'll need to adjust that final step with your reloads.
