NES IRC/live chat?

Just wondering if anyone ever thought of doing an IRC or other type of live chat setup?

doobie, back in the day I did a lot of IRC. It was fun, especially if the group didn't get to large and hard to follow.

It's pretty simple as I recall.

the only problem I see is that a lot of us (Me especially) need the NON-Real Time lag of a forum to help me from getting in trouble with a rabid sense of what I call humor.

This has been discussed a few times do a search I don't feel like posting why I still don't want to do it.
