He was always, patient, and freely sharing his knowledge.

I went to college with Ken's daughter, and a group of us still get together nearly every wednesday for dinner. He did my safety class to get my license, he was a solid guy and is sorely missed...

I took a class with Ken a long time ago. And I remember one piece of wisdom he shared.

He and his wife were getting ready for a very fancy dinner/party. He may have been wearing a tux.

His wife saw him put a handgun in his pocket and asked him if he really thought he'd need that during this event?

His reply? If he really thought he'd need it they wouldn't be going...

Either we were in the same class, or that was a favorite anecdote.
