Nice GSG-5's

Where is the best place to pick one of those up?

I've been thinking about getting one of those for a while now, and those two pics made me feel left out... now I must buy one DAMN'IT. [smile]

Zero Hour Arms in Easton always seems to have one or five laying around.

It's been a while since I made any purchases and figured I was overdue. Picked this up yesterday at a local shop, I'm not exactly fond of 2-tone pistols, But I'll get use to it.[grin] FNP-40

Not technically purchased in July...but its a 100% funtional PF-9 rebuild recieved back from Keltec on 7-1..in my book that counts as a "new acquisition" [laugh]

PaiN,

Nice Gun. On of these days I've got to try one of those.
As for shooting you're not missing much...shoots like you might expect a slim, light 9mm to shoot. Its got a long(but smooth) DA trigger pull with very snappy recoil. There is a slightly raised seam on the underside of dovetail which sliced my hand up good during my 200 round test. I will have that seam off and smooth before I shoot this again

I got this today for my girlfriend for her birthday. Nothing says "I Love You" like a .38 snubby!

Anyway, I picked up a pocket holster, trigger lock and 100 rounds of Independence 130gr. to get her started...

After the purchase, I almost wished I'd bought two of them. I kinda like the smaller size for when I wear swim trunks around or pants w/o belt loops...

Range report will shortly follow - we plan on going to the range tomorrow.

I'm keeping all my brass this time :)

I was so proud of her - she actually took it, read the owners manual, locked it and put one of the keys on her key chain...

EDIT: She's an LTC-A holder as well FYI

Well, I went to the gun store today. What a mistake.... LOL I found a Taurus Millennium PT 140 for a sweet deal. I got the gun with a second mag and the holster for 385 out the door. I felt the deal was so good that I could not pass it up.

nice! especially with the ACU's in the background! [smile]

nothing says "hooah" like some ACU's "wallpaper" with a gun on it.

I was out with my bud who was buying a new Savage MkII. Had my T\C Silver Lynx, which I've grown not to like...I got my hands on a Ruger 10/22 Target and thought "this would be cool with a red dot". Out with the T\C, Hello to my first 10/22.

sorry about the crap pics..I'm beat and didn't feel like posing it. So direct from the cleaning rack....

jay_chris, make sure she puts a copy of the internal lock key on her key ring as well. While very rare, the internal lock Smiths have been reported to sometimes lock up under recoil. You should have a key with you as well as your trigger lock key.
