Does any one have any experience with either of these bag? I really like how they are backpack types and they both seem pretty good to bring to comps as well that I will soon be getting into. Or perhaps another brand or type. I do like how the 1st has a locking zipper considring my car is a hatchback but the 2nd looks like u can just fit a skinny lock threw the wholes on the ends of the zippers.

Neat designs but over a $100 is not justifiable IMHO. Soft handgun cases and a good backpack (3V here), is what I use. Works great.

You could put one of those luggage locks in my backpack zipper if you were into that lock bullshit.

I have my glock range bag that fits 2 pistals in. But i want to start 3 gun and that bag seems to small and the backpack typs seems good since I will be carrying a long case for the rifle n shoutgun but maybe just getting 1 of those nice pelican casses would prob do the trick since there is room for a rifle shotgun and a few pistals. As for locks I live in a none green city so if anything happens like getting pulled over my ass is covered with the lock container law... dam MA state

I love the first like you posted you can get them for like 139 on ebay but just can't see spending that kind of money

I saw the second one at kittery trading post last weekend and wasn't impressed at all the inset to hold the guns does not look very durable, defiantly not worth the money imho

Thanks for the info jjbff45 that foam insert from the pics did look like it was good quality high density foam..lol guess looks could be deceiving.

My brother has the second one, he paid $90 or so for it, it's made by GPS. Forgot where he got it, but he loves it.

Looks like the second one is GPS brand too. It's on Amazon for $117.99:

EDIT: second one's on Amazon too... $89.99

I have owned several range bags over the years but have found that a properly sized tool bag will do the same job for a lot less money. Recently I have graduated to hard plastic tool boxes which allow for more storage options.
