My LGS called today to say that the RPR that we have been waiting months for had come in. 5-6 month wait. Only $622. Well, that was my cost as my son and I are splitting the gun, scope, etc. It will be awhile before we purchase the scope as this is the slow time of year for both of us. Pretty excited.

Splitting cost on items can really make things a little more affordable. Let's just hope your eyes and head position are close to the same so you don't have to fiddle with the scope

I split costs with my father all the time. We share a full reloading setup. Its in a huge rubbermaid bin and the Dillon 550 is mounted to a baseplate that fits a bolt pattern we both have drilled into our workbenches. Buying bulk for powder, primers and splitting up brass processing is pretty awesome. We dont actually shoot each other's reloads at all, just share the machine and reload in bursts.

Another fine idea.

I don't know why more people don't do this. Dillon Presses are expensive and most people run them every once in a while and build up batches of reloads. The rest of the time they just sit.
