Purchased one for my CCW. I have tried many different brands of ammo and the gun has performed very well, without issues.

Fits my hand well and very nice size for carry.

My only gripe is the trigger!!

The long pull definitely affects my accuracy. I suppose I will improve with more range time.

But, as you all are aware, one CCW isn't enough!

Any recommendations for a 9mm, similar size, better trigger?

As for a recommendation with a better trigger, have you looked at the Glock Compacts (I think a G26 is 9mm)?

Now to the LC9 trigger - You should get better with practice. I've shot ~ 1k rounds through my LC9 and now the trigger is nice and smooth. It's certainly long, but once you learn how to hold right before the break (and reset right off the break) it's basically a tack driver.

I carried an LC9 and it was a good gun. I tolerated the trigger but sold it and bought a Glock 26. The size differences between the two is substantial but G26 trigger is nice. My next sub-compact is a Kahr PM9, really like that trigger!

Just checked out the G26 AND pm9 specs...... G seems quite a bit larger, as you said and PM9 seems a little shorter.

I went back to Galloway site and it is a little confusing to me. It states parts may be available sometime in October.

Checked out the in house service section and it states to send an email to get on a list.....but, they won't answer questions. I like to find out if I want to be on the list, before getting on a list and wondering what I am waiting for!!

I had and carried an LC9 for a little less then a year, I liked the size and pretty much everything about the gun, EXCEPT the trigger. I was doing shooting drills and just couldn't get the shot off, sometimes at all because of the trigger pull.

Long Story Short, I sold it and bought a RUGER SR9c, it's a little bigger, but it's very easy to shoot and I've had 0 problems with it.
