So the Grand Caravan obviously needs a new radio. I had a Uniden Bearcat with a K40 on the Corolla, but it was really cumbersome. I'm looking to transplant it on the caravan, however what is the best way to mount an antenna on a van? I can't mount it on a trunk lip the way I could on the Corolla.

I have a Diamond trunk lip mount that I first used on the rear hatch of the wife's Honda Odyssey and is now on the rear door of my Isuzu trooper. It's adjustable for any angle. It works great with MFJ ham sticks and won't interfere with a man-bun.

Edit: Diamond and Comet make many versions including a cheaper one where you attach whatever antenna and feed line you have.

Thanks! I think I'm going to remount the K40 and Bearcat on the van, my wife is not really enthused about keeping it in the Corolla. I'm going to get the magnetic mount for the K40.
