He's pulling the trigger. Action is super lightened. Parts exchanged for aluminimuminum inside. The last 3 fingers run the lever, the index just gets in the way and hits the trigger on close.

I bet that thing gets worked on more than a 72 Pinto. You think of how light and "weak" the components are and how much he has to practice. I bet stuff is bending left and right on that bad boy.
