No longer google shopping search for firearms?

It doesnt work for me.

I tried: SR22, RUGER SR22, GLOCK, CZ...

but thats ok. I never use their "shopping" search. And no, I dont have any parental controls, I am not using google chrome and I am not googling from work.

Apparently Google doesn't recognize flag day either. Yet they recognize the most random shit...

Google Shopping policies - NEW

The following products are not allowed on Google Shopping:

Vehicles
Guns, ammunition and knives
Tobacco and cigarettes
Traffic devices (Learn more)
Products related to casino and gambling
Products or digital goods that require additional software installation in order to be purchased.
Products bundled with service plans. (Note: The only products that are allowed to be submitted with a service plan are mobile devices.)

It works just fine for me. I even included a handy link. [wink]

Glock 19

Try going to shopping.google.com and search for it. Nobody ever said that they couldn't go to google and search for firearms, if you thought that, you misread the first post. You can go to the normal search engine and find whatever you want related to whatever firearm you want. If you go look for shopping options, like I am sure many do to compare prices, you see no results.

Just tried it; works fine.

Google Chrome.

there is definitely something going on with Chrome and Firefox. its strange but i start getting same negative results for any firearm im searching in google shopping.
wtf>??? Safari works just fine, Chrome and Firefox(same versions) on another computer work fine, iPad and iPhone work fine.
I clear all the cache on Firefox same negative result. strange. I'll work on Chrome, hopefully it will work.
but big question is why after sometime on both browsers Chrome and Firefox searches in google shopping for firearms return nothing.
hmmm if clearing a cache helped that means they install some cookie and watching your internet activity and searches and then block them??? wtf???

Are you logged into google on one computer and not the other? What about google search settings on the two computers? Are they the same?

I tried while logged in and not same result. Looks like Google really becoming anti-gun.
I searched for similar issues on the internet and here what i found

Looks like google shopping isn't working for me anymore. Huge disappointment. Do you guys think sending enough negative feedback will change their policy? Oh well, I'll try to start using Bing again.

I just updated Firefox and Chrome couple of days ago, but my Safari is the looks like 2 versions old that is why most likely its still works.
but im sure July 1 comes it will stop working since google will in-force their new policy.
but since they have power over Chrome and looks like over Firefox they have include it in to new releases.

When this was first posted I was able to get results, but now I get nothing on chrome, firefox or safari. weak.

Google shopping bans firearm related items for me too on my smartphone. But I may have found a work around.

If you have the Bar Code Scanner app on your smartphone. Try scanning the bar code from a box of ammo, or a bar code from a Glock/S&W factory pistol case. Then it gives you the option to do a google Shopping search based on the bar code which does bring back firearm related items.
