Thank you to anyone who can help out with this. A friend last minute offered to take me duck hunting with them in Rhode Island Sunday morning. I assumed I would need a non-resident fid or LTC or at the very least some type of hunter safety course.

Would I be legal to bring my semi-auto shotgun into Rhode Island with only a Mass LTC and previous mass hunting licenses. (My hunter safety course was done through mass wildlife about 20 years ago I don't have the physical card it's just saved in the system) NRA says no license required but safety course.

I went to Rhode Island's hunting license purchase page. It let me sign up took all my information and asked for a previous years Massachusetts license number as proof for hunting safety. We don't have hunting license numbers, so I entered my customer ID. In a small blurb it said something like they would verify it on their end. It immediately let me purchase all the licenses it says Hunter Certification $0.00. Short of waiting until normal business hours Monday to confirm I'm hoping someone here will have some experience with this.

Thanks in advance for any replies

Sorry no one got back to you.

Yeah, you were AOK. Worst that happens is if a warden shows up, you'll show your non-resi and your resident MA lic.

How did you do????
