I’ve got 10 mixed genetics chestnut trees producing this year. Way more than I can ever eat.
They are sweet, very productive, fast producing trees (5-7 years) & should be blight resistant

I’ve also got chinkapin chestnuts that grow as an understory bush/tree and produce small acorn size nuts that are super sweet

I’ve also got a crap ton load of yellowhorn nuts. The tree grows as an understory tree in China. The leaves and flowers are also edibe. Each fruit has 20-30 acorn size nuts that taste like a macadamia nut inside. I’ve had them produce nuts at 2 years old!!
