It is more important that the Vietnamese be able to defend themselves with American guns than it is that we the people should be able to.

Plus, you know, payback to all the defense contractor brib^h^h^h^hcampaign contributions. Or something.

my only question is at what year mark do we draw the line? 75 years ago Japanese and Germans killed over 400k Americans.
