I have a few questions regarding old ammunition. For background, I don't know the dates on all the ammo, but it's likely everything is 40+ years old is not 50-60+ years old. Is it safe to use? Does safety depend on caliber or age? Is it more valuable to keep and not use? Should it be stored in any particular way (besides in a locked container)?

Thanks

If not corroded, fire away.

As the NES designated "old ammo disposal" specialist, I urge you to arrange for me to pick it up for proper disposal. Safety first. PM me for delivery info.

I've fired ammo left over from the WWII and Korea era with no real issues. I ran into some 7.62X54 once that split the case necks, but that's about it. The stuff is made to last. Fire away. :)
