I really need to buy a new desktop. I really miss FPS's.[sad]

Here are some of my interests:

  • Bass fishing.
  • Taking my son shooting.
  • I collect antique staplers (Really. I even did a website on it)
  • Woodworking; mostly with antique hand tools, but I'm not a fanatic about it (I use power tools for the boring stuff).
  • I'm a part-time antique tool dealer (PM me if you're looking to buy or sell something).
  • Building computers for myself, family, and friends.
  • Website development.
  • Collecting old .32 pocket pistols (again, another website).
  • Travel - I travel for work worldwide about 50% of the time. I've been doing it for 20 years and I'm not tired of it yet.

BTW, my name is not Eddie. I've been using this name online since about 1996. It comes from one of my favorite movies, "The Friends of Eddie Coyle"

Some of my hobbies, 10-pin bowling is a big one of mine, hoping to go pro someday. Fishing deap sea and freshwater. Skiing, golf, horseshoes, off roading, motorcycle, shooting, and beer pong is a fun passtimes on certain nights :)

Favorite hobby is firearms but I also really like photography. I shoot a digital Nikon SLR. I spend as much time as I can with my wife and sons. My family is my whole life. I am lucky in that my wife is my best friend and my boys are both great. I coach Little League but that is sometimes more like work than a hobby, but its still fun. We have a small powerboat that we use in the summer, and with my schedule as a vocational school teacher, we get to spend a lot of time together in July and August. I also do electrical work (my trade area) on the side a bit. I wouldnt call that a hobby but I enjoy what I do so its fun too. I guess I'd say I try to do a bit of everything with the biggest limiting factor being not enough $$$ to do it all.

Regards,
Chris

Motorcycles (for about 5 years)
Cigars (luv em)
Shooting (not enough though, just getting back into it, never as serious as I would like to have been)
Golf (never enough time)

I've been trying to care for a sick (not terminal but chronic) wife for 5 years (just turning the corner this year but had some setbacks) so with 2 kids (one just getting out of colleg and one just starting) it's been tough to keep it all together, make a living and maintain my own sanity. But I'm still plugging away.

With all of this I've sold the bike, don't smoke as much as I'd like, don't have time for golf and not sure where to shoot anymore.

So...sorry you asked?? 8~) But thanks for asking.

I have been interested in guns for years but just recently was able to start shooting and apply for my license. Outside of that my main interested are dogs (have an english bulldog and a pitbill) motorcycles (riding about 5 years now) tattoos, extreme metal music, horror movies and a bunch of other things i have no time for.

Shooting is my number 1 hobby without question. However, last year I got into Kart racing and I bought a kart and all the gear. Talk about an expensive and time consuming hobby. Because of that I gave up shooting for an entire year. Now I'm back into shooting and out of racing. I'm also into the Martial Arts. I don't really train anymore but I did for about 17 years and I use to compete nationally. I started training in MMA last year but again my shooting takes priority so I just didn't have time for the MMA between my wife, house, shooting, etc.

Oh, and I'm also a car nut!!!

Pete

Here's a pic of my newest hobby - I couldn't resist. I got it for 50% off the retail...and what the hell, the fed tax return came in. [smile] I plan to start using it in May up at the beach.

Wow that is a beautiful morris chair on your website, there is one in our family that is the nicest I have seen until yours. Now that is furniture that goes in your will.

Hello, I am an avid shooter and hunter. Sporting clays being my favorite game but pistol shooting has become an obsession, going to start shooting IDPA soon. As for hunting: waterfowl, deer, and some upland is where my interest is mainly focused. Summer time is saltwater fishing with anything and for anything mainly Stripers, until the Bonito start running on the Vineyard. I volunteer for a local Ducks Unlimited chapter (Plymouth Mass) which is getting busy with our annual banquet in April. Other than that all I do is work and sleep.

Derek.... you don't need much to run Call of Duty United Offensive. I'm running a Pentium 3, 512 RAM, and NVIDIA GEFORCE FX 5200 card, and I can run the game fine on my clan's server, and can run Call of Duty 2 ok if I turn down the settings. If I could stop buying rifles, i'd have the cash to upgrade and run COD 2 smoothly.[smile]
If you want fun COD United Offensive gaming with a modern weapons mod that has AK47s, MP5s, SIGs, Desert Eagles, etc., get in touch with me and i'll give you our team speak and game server IPs. We also have a standard weapons server with sniper scope mods and recoil toned down. DBB is one of the highest rated clans in the world for United Offensive and our servers are usually packed, but if i'm on team speak I can get you in the game.
Check out our web site for info and rules.

My name on there is Otis Driftwood.

Many of you folks take great pictures. I love taking pictures of my guns too and have a new digital camera I must learn how to use, but have been lazy. Up to now its been camera shots from a 35mm put on a cd rom.

Once I get the hang of using my new camera, i'm sure i'll be posting much "Gun Porn" in the gallery section.[smile]

I also was heavy into Bass fishing, then shooting and WW2 first person PC gaming online took over. Before I got into shooting i'd fish local ponds mostly at night for largemouth and smallmouth bass. Nothing like hearing and feeling a 4 pound smallie slam a black jitterbug at night while you're using lite spinning tackle with 6 pound test Trilene in crystal clear deep water. Or that rock solid hookset when you're crawling 10" Berkley Power Worms on the bottom of a murky pond when a 6 pound largemouth gulps it and runs. You'd swear it was a stump until you see 14 pound test line peeling off your Shimano baitcast reel even with the drag set tight. I miss fishing now.[thinking]

Movies take up a good amount of my time as well. My entertainment center is like a giant altar that causes most to stare in awe when they walk in my living room. Horror, war, and drama make up most of my collection of DVDs.

I'm also a recovering knife and sword collector. My wife almost killed me when I spent over a thousand dollars on a replica Conan the Barbarian sword made by Albion Armorers under the careful eye of original Conan Atlantean sword creator and world renowned smith Jody Samson. I say recovering collector because since getting into guns, I can no longer afford Paul Chen samurai and Del Tin movie swords.[laugh]
