I'm looking to join a club closer to my home (Windham, NH) and I think I've narrowed it down to either Pelham or Nasua Fish & Game (unless someone has another recommendation).

I shoot semi-auto hand guns, an AR15 and will soon be acquiring a .308 (either an AR10 or M1A).

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Thanks

I just joined Pelham recently. From the 3 times I've been I can tell you that it is so so much better than Nashua. I like the feel of the utility (rifle) range much better, and the action ranges are much more versatile than the "plinker range" you would find at Nashua. I let my membership at Nashua lapse to come here and I'm happy I did.

Did they ever build the 600yd range? How many and how long are their rifle ranges? Their website seems to have not been updated in some time.

I guess theyre working on it. But its going to take a substantial amount of money to finish. That would be the one thing Nashua has over Pelham. The utility range is 25, 500 and 100 yds. I found the Nashua rifle range a bit claustrophobic.

They've been 'working on it' since at least 2008.

What is the guest policy if you are a member at Pelham? I've seen some clubs that you can only bring someone "X" number of times before they have to join, they have to be direct family, you're only allowed to have 1 guest with you, etc.

I'm in Pelham, it's less than a mile away. As long as youre being safe, no one bothers you. there are the action pits, shoot your own trap, a large variety of options.
I like it like that
