I was looking at ghost ring sights for my Glock 27, made by AmeriGlo, also from Entreprise, anyway has anyone used ghost ring sights on pistols? If so, how did they work for you? I wanted to try something different since my eyes are NOT so great any more and I am having some issues getting a decent sight picture with the meprolites on my Glock. Open to ideas also! Thanks all in advance!

I tried a ghost ring sight when they first came out (on a 1911) and didn't like it at all. The sight wasn't all that accurate. I think the short sight radius is the problem; this type of sight works best on rifles.

I loved my ghost ring on the rear sight of my P14, but had to remove it to compete in IDPA (I bought a new slide with night sights on it and Greg Derr did the work).

The eye naturally centers the front post in the center of the ghost ring circle. VERY fast target acquisition.

That is why I was interested in them, it was target acquisition time, I have them on my 10/22T rifle and really like them, just really didn't know if they were a waste on my Glock, it seems there are 2 schools of thought on this one by the answers so far.
