Does anyone have any opinions about the Pointer Fish and Game club in Bedford, NH? I just moved to Bedford this year and the club is literally one street over from me, so it's location couldn't be better, but they told me they're not accepting new members until February, so I don't know if I should look around for another place in the meantime.

Also, how do they compare to Nashua or Pelham Fish and Game? I've had memberships to both when I lived closer to those two locations - I loved the action ranges at PF&G and would still be a member with them if it wasn't now a 45 minute drive away. As far as Nashua goes, I wasn't impressed by them at all, the rigidity of it all, having to qualify on a series of ranges, and forced labor hours (with no option to buy out of it), just made it all a very unpleasant experience for me (just my opinion).

I'm former military and am involved more in IPSC/tactical pistol shooting than anything else (although I do enjoy shooting AR/AK platforms as well), so any advice or opinion is appreciated - thanks!

I've been there a couple times with a friend. If i remember right they have a 25,50,75,100 yrd range and a bow range. I couldn't get in at the time either so i ended joining Londonderry fish and game instead.

How do you like Londonderry? I was considering them and Horseshoe as well, but Horseshoe seemed even more of a wait (and hassle) than Pointer did, so Londonderry was actually my next choice.

I like it, you just go to one of the monthly meetings and join and you get a key right away. They have a 25,50,100 yrd range, skeet range and a bow range. Its a pretty laid back club and everyone i've met has been nice. There's a meeting next tuesday night i think.

Pointer looks pretty nice, and at $200/first year and $100/year, if you're that close then there's really no excuse not to join.

If they had anything over 100 yards, I'd be thinking about joining.

I joined Horseshoe last year, other than taking a few months to attend the three meetings needed it wasn't hard. I live close enough that Horseshoe made the most sense for me. Good group of people, feel to ask here or PM with questions.
