Poll in USA Today: Guns Save Lives Everyday - GOA

I'm quite surprised no one in the TX. Walmart was carrying.
I think there was a 22 yo military soldier on leave there and had a glock on him, licensed to carry, and was helping some young children to safety.
I can not remember where I read that. Maybe Breitbart or Oann

What are they actually asking in the poll?

It says "What do you think of the opposing view"?

Huh?

Opposing view?

Its an opinion piece

Whats the answer to agree with Pratt?

Yes, I didn't respond because I too thought, the way it is posed in the survey, the question is ambiguous.

The article itself is the opposing view.
The website takes the standard democratic
progressive point of view that Trump—bad, all guns— bad, conservatives—bad.

You mean, you are surprised that nobody carrying a concealed pistol in the WalMart sought out and tried to stop a killer with a rifle. I’ve read credible information that there were armed people present who heard gunshots and departed the store ASAP. Carrying concealed is not an obligation to find, fix, flank and fire on superior firepower.

Not going hard on you - I know what you meant. But if there are only 17% who sometimes carry concealed in the US (outside NY and CA) there are certainly less than 1 in 100 who will risk life and limb for strangers who expect others to protect them. Most who are not sheep are not sheepdogs either. That’s a rare breed.
