So I have a few AR15 rifles. One is a post-ban with a "pinned" collapsible stock (16" carbine, A3, M4gery type). I hate it because it reminds me of the stupid laws Massachusetts has regarding "assault weapons". I could put an A2 or ARFX on it but want something different. What does the NES AR shooting group recommend? Pics would be great. Thanks.

Chris

I like the ARFX. I would put it on a rifle even if I lived else where. A Carbine is an other thing.

I tried the Ace stock and personally did not like it. After some research, i went with a Sully and loved it. I found the cheek-weld to be superior to everything else I tried. I used the spacer for a little extra LOP and it was perfect...

I originally had a short entry stock on my 5.56 Rock River Arms LAR-15 Entry Tactical carbine, it's what came with it when I first bought the rifle:

I have since replaced it with a pinned VLTOR E-MOD stock, which I really like. The VLTOR has the battery storage compartments on both sides which provides a great cheek weld, in my opinion:

In CT, we have to also have the collapsible stocks pinned on post-ban rifles.

If you're interested, I'm willing to part with that original short entry stock in the top pic. Let me know.
