Practicing for RI qualification

Qualified with the 1918 Colt M17 DA; scored a 246. Now waiting for my recommendations and a rewrite of the letter to the AG.

Beat my best by 19; with 4X and 4-10.

Nice, see keep most of your shots inside 7 ring and splash a few 10s around and your in.

One step closer. All notarized but the police chief. I was told by the police to go city hall. The form says police chief OR city hall official. No one at city hall thought they had the authority to sign, so they sent me back to the police chiefs office. Left the form there. Once signed I’m off to RI

Let the chicken sh!t begin. Tiverton RI is 17 miles away. I used the Attorney Generals form. Tiverton has its own 21 TWENTY ONE page application. They do not accept the AG form. Off to Providence.

This is so sad, it’s getting funny. Middle of a blizzard. Three wrecks on 195. Find the office. Find parking. Informed the office moved to Cranston in July. Printed and filled my application in OCTOBER.

Off to Cranston...

Application was checked over page by page, accepted, and passed up the chain of bureaucracy.

Now we wait. I’ll probably get FL before then.
