Makes sense, if you are prepped for zombies, a three day flood is just a dry run to work out the kinks. Fix the problems and wait for the zombie horde.
 
I don't need to convince anyone. If SHTF, then I know for a fact that I'm better off than anyone else in a 10 mile radius.
 
That was actually interesting. Puts things into a reasonable perspective. Be prepared, to any degree, is a wise choice. He hits the nail on the head as far as owning a rifle. Rifle, some fishing gear, and the ability to dress and butcher your kill goes a long way. A rifle is not just for protecting your castle. It will feed you. Some knowledge regarding the edible plants will also go a long way. I'm working on that one.
