Correct me if I'm wrong if a firearm is NOT on the approved roster only applies to dealers correct? For instance, I have an AK-47 which I purchased out of state before I moved back to mass. Before moving here I made it MA compliant. I can still sell this rifle through private party correct? even though it doesn't appear on the "approved roster"?

Handgun compliance garbage doesn't apply to non-dealers. Period, end, full stop. All you have to worry about is the AWB. Otherwise, just forget about all the stupid ****ing lists and your life will become a lot easier.
ETA: Your rifle may be subject to AWB issues but that's a whole other ballgame unrelated to any list. You might have to pay someone to neuter the thing.
