Problem with shotgun shells

It sounds as if your crimp failed. Those "little white beads" are the buffer which protects the buckshot in transit, so to speak.

A dab of candle wax dripped over the center of the crimp was the old-timer's way of securing the crimp on reloaded shotshells. Try it.

I'd dump that one, a loose load in the shot shell will make horible patterns. If your shooting buckshot try the 000buck
that's what i use now, they are nasty.

Forget Buckshot- use slugs - if you hit it, it's hit, & if you miss it it's a clean miss.

no wounded deer running off & dying unharvested.

Who said he was a hunter?

Buckshot is a common HD load, although I think Remington's 4X6 or 2X4 combo loads are better.

Call or write the manufacturer. I had a box of bird shot that had 2 FTF when the primer was struck. Absolutely my fault for storing the ammo in a humid basement. ~3-4 months old.

I told them about it anyway and they sent me an airbill because they wanted the ammo and the cardboard box for the manufacture batch number back for testing. They sent me a couple of coupons for 6 boxes of ammo free for my troubles.
