Proper sling use

Here's a link to the best tutorial I've seen yet on how to properly use the sling for shooting.

The only difference is that I find no need to detach the short strap from the butt stock. I hope some of you find this helpful.

That is a great tutorial. I remember what I went through trying to find the best way of rigging the sling when I first started.

Ray-Vin has some great products too. I got their scope stand this year as well as the '03 sight micrometer for my Springfield. Just got to use that last weekend & it's well made & a great tool.

That was a good tutorial taught me alot i did not even relize that i had that exact sling on my muzzle loader! But in the outher forums Tonyd you talk about using a Marine Corps web loop sling. What is that? is there a pic of one i can find anything on the internet about them i might just be serching in the wrong places lol just wondering!
