Ensures due process for declaring someone mentally unfit to own a gun.

This legislation would give necessary protection to gun owners by ensuring due process rights are upheld if an individual’s eligibility is questioned and reported to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS)

Seems like a no-brainer to me. The liberals will never stand for it, though, because it makes it harder to restrict 2A rights. "What if someone uses an evil gun 2 kill a thousnd ppl while waiting for the courts to catch up??! OMG!!!"
