I'm packing up and moving tomorrow, so I think its about time to be searching for a new club in southern NH. Any suggestions? I am looking for a club that I can shoot both rifle and pistol at, and I'll eventually be getting into action shooting, so proper facilities for that are a plus.

Even better if someone wants to give me a tour of any of these clubs... its been weeks since I've been shooting last! [thinking]

Pelham Fish & Game

If this was some sort of contest then I guess Pelham wins...

I'm in Litchfield now, and will be working in Londonderry, so really anywhere in that vicinity is ideal.

I'm dieing to shoot too!

I'm a member @ Nashua Fish & Game and would be willing to show you around the club. You would be able to shoot as my guest.
It is convenient to Litchfield but does not offer all of the facilities you are looking for.
Pelham is probably the right place for you, but I thought you might like to see what Nashua has to offer.

In the mean time, if you really need to shoot, get thee to Manchester Firing Line.

wmccurdy.. I gotta say Nashua is a very nice place , went there as a guest with Dennis aka PantherarmsAR10 on monday..Had a great time on the range and a big thumbs up on friendly folks and very nice facility.. I'm actually going to be joining when the wife spares me the money , hopefully very soon [wink]

+1 for Nashua Fish & Game

I recognized the Fowler Range in the photos in the other thread. I'm glad you had a good experience.

Nashua F&G has lots to offer. They are resurrecting the action pistol program after many years of inactivity. I expect it will be a few years before they back to a full blown USPSA/IPDA program, but it's a start.

I would suggest that you wait till after 01 July to join. It will cost you a year and a halfs dues but they don't prorate dues, if you join before that date, you pay for a full year but will have to reup in Jan. Joining after 01 July also gives you 18 months to complete your work hours.

The process is simple and painless.

If you are so inclined, they are running a summer bullseye league on Tuesday evenings, 5:30 to dusk, and it is open to non-members.

Gotcha. Places I know are west of the river, not near you. I'd say Pelham and Nashua are, by reputation, the places you need to check out. The crowd here seems to say so, too! [smile]

wm.... PM inbound , and thanks for the heads up on joining and dues [wink] , anyone thats in the area , I definetly suggest you check Nashua F&G out if you get a chance

I belong to Country Pond Fish & Game in Newton, NH...Shoot me a PM and I'd be more than glad to show you around. Indoor 50' pistol range open 24/7, indoor archery range, outdoor huge 3D archery, outdoor 50', outdoor 50 & 100 yard, and trap. The club has some additional benefits, too [smile]

Ninsho... I live in Litchfield too. Londonderry Fish and Game is off 3A and is behind Hidden Creek Country Club which is Litcfhield, but the Fish and game club is just over the line in Londonderry.

Personally I belong to Chester Rod and Gun Club which is in Chester, even though it is further away from me. I like the ranges, the people, etc. I am thinking of getting a membership at Londonderry just for the after-work shoot a couple mags out of the pistol before dinner deal.

I'll second everything said in this post. One additional benefit in particular was the swaying factor in my decision.
